IBIZA

Hi! I'm going to tell when I was in Ibiza this last summer. In July my friends(Maria, Leti, Patri, and Iris) and I went to the island for a week. There we went to a lot of beaches and we proved the typical baths of mud. We went to the big discos too. We caugth a ship for see all around the island and it was very beautiful.

My live in Castellón

Since already I had said I'm not of Castellón but I'm living now here because I'm studying at Jaume I University. I live in a flat near the university with two more girls. They are Laura and Anna, and also it is their first year. In spite of we did not know ourselves, we live in harmony. We have not had any problem even. The flat is very nice and cozy. The rooms isn't small and it has two baths and a pretty livingroom. I was thinking life together was difficult, but it isn't for so much. This can be possible because I have been lucky with my companions. Actually, at first was quite difficult because the distance and the change. The most different thing for me respect my life in my town was the people. I'm refer to the contact with friends. Now since I know more people this it's less important.

My town

Hi!I'm MªÀngels and my town is La Vila Joiosa. Despite I'm living in Castellón I don't forget my dear town. La Vila belongs to Alicante province. It's very beautiful; not only because it was my born city. It has about 30.000 or more habitants, therefore it isn't big. It has many beaches of differnt types like rocks or sand. In summer, this beaches have refreshment stalls where you can eat, take drinks to refresh yourself, listen to music with the best the best summer landscape.
It's wonderful!! Stalls are my favourite place in summer. It's possible that you are hearing about it because its fabulous local parties of Moors and Christians. They take place since 24 to 31 of July every year. They are considered international interest parties. This is possible because its Desembarco. The "Desembarco"(disembarkation) is the most famous act of the parties of Moors and Christians. It take place at daybrake and consists in the Moors go with their ships from the wharf to the shore, and in the shore are the Christians waiting for them. When the moors arrive, the day is starting and they begin the battle for Villajoyosa's conquest. Do you know who is the champion?
Moors are the winners in this battle, but not everything finishes here.
Since the Moors had won, they invaded the casttle of La Vila. At this point the only way to recover the castle was to return to fight. This act is named "The Reconquest". Obviously, this battle is won by the christians.
